Shipping and retun policy

Shipping policy
Comptoir d’enfance ships products in the entire United States and Canada and UE.

Please make sure that your shipping address is located in the USA, Canada, or UE otherwise we will not be able to process your order. Also, please make sure that your shipping address is a street address, as we do not deliver to P.O. boxes.

We can deliver in other countries upon request.

Delivery Time
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Shipping date estimates will appear in the order form. After placing your order, you will see both shipping and delivery date estimates in the order confirmation e-mail and in the order summary in Your Account.
Products will be shipped within 48 hours from the time the order is received at Comptoirdenfance.com. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be shipped on Monday. Regular shipping is  ground. The flat shipping fee is 8 dollars/8 euros.

If you choose to group items into as few shipments as possible, you'll be charged for one regular per-shipment fee, as well as a per-item fee for each item in that shipment.
If you choose to ship items as soon as they become available, we'll charge you full per-shipment fees for each shipment as well as a per-item fee for each item.
To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Refused shipment/delivery failure due to lack of avaibility
It is important that each customer provides us with the correct shipping information. Any orders placed with incorrect addresses and/or zip codes that need to be corrected by UPS for delivery will incur an additional charge of $5.00 for standard delivery . Any shipments that are returned to Comptoir d’enfance  by shipping carriers due to: refusal of delivery; incorrect address supplied by customer; undeliverable address or delivery failure due to lack of availability on recipient's part will not be automatically refunded.
If the customer wishes that the order be re-shipped, a second shipping charge will be billed equivalent to actual shipping charges or published shipping charges, whichever is greater. Please make sure that your shipping address is a street address, as we do not deliver to a P.O. Box.

Tracking of the orders
You will receive an automated email notification to inform you about your order's status and your  track number.

Loss and damaged merchandise
Inspect merchandise immediately upon receipt and notify carrier if shipment is loss or damaged. All claims must be filed with the carrier.

Out of stock items
Items out of stock are marked “out of stock” on Comptoirdenfance.com. You will be notified if an item is out of stock prior to placing the order. If for some reason an item becomes unavailable between the time you order the item and the time it is shipped, you will be notified immediately and a full refund of the out of stock item will be applied to your credit card as soon as possible, and in any event within 30 days of your order.

General return policy
You may return unopened items sold and fulfilled by Comptoirdenfance.com within 7 working days of delivery.
Items should be returned in their original product packaging. All items must be new and unused, not altered from their original status, in the original packaging, with the freight prepaid. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
Sorry, we cannot accept any returns after 7 WORKING DAYS or without an invoice. Please inspect and check the items that you ordered once you receive them. Please use a traceable shipping method (UPS, FEDEX, or insured mail) to return your order.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
We'll also pay the return shipping costs and will fully refund your account only if the products are returned for reasons that may be due to Comptoir d’enfance, as in the case where the products have manufacturing defects or they have been erroneously delivered. In this last case you have to mention if the return is a result of our error.

Items that are Not Returnable
Comptoirdenfance.com does not accept returns of the following items:
• Any item that has obvious signs of use.
• Gift certificates
• Any product that has been opened/taken out of its plastic wrap or box. (If you discover that the item is defective after the package is opened, a full refund or replacement will still be granted.)
• Any item not returned in the condition it was received.

The return
Please put your invoice in the box.
Each mailing label is coded for a specific shipment. Please do not include items from other orders, or other shipments from the same order, in the same box, or you will not receive the correct refund. Each shipment must be returned using a separate mailing label.
We'll pay the return shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.)
